Bulkington Village Hall

(Last updated December 2016)

Christmas is coming! Soon 2017 will be upon us and already bookings
are being made for Birthday Parties in the New Year. The collections
from running Nev‟s Trains are greatly appreciated by Air Ambulance
whom we support. Many lives have been saved by this service and we realise that
any one of us may live – literally – to be grateful for it. On a domestic note, we
must express our gratitude nearer to home. Our neighbour, Roger Futter, is an
unseen hero, quietly making sure all is well with the Hall and where needed,
keeping it clean and tidy. We never seem to catch him at it, so here‟s our thanks,
Roger! In December, the Hall will be hosting at least one Party, that of the
Bulkington Ladies‟ Group. Last year‟s BYO Christmas fare and Quiz was a
success: let‟s hope we can match it this year. Happy Christmas and a Good New

Angela Read, Chairman.

Our December meeting is a “bring and share” festive meal in the Village Hall. The
date is Thursday 15th Dec. We will start at the earlier time of 7 pm as it is a full meal
and not the usual light refreshments. There will be the usual raffle.

Our January meeting will be a planning meeting on Thursday 26th at 7.30 pm in the
Village Hall. Please bring some ideas for our 2017 programme.

We wish everyone a very happy Christmas.

The Mobile Library will be visiting the Well car park in Bulkington on Mondays
12th December and 9th January from 11.05-11.30am . Please support this.

Don‟t forget that the village hall can be hired for a Children‟s Birthday Party
with two hours of train rides for £105.
